You can buy our products online if you are unable to visit our shop or attend any of the shows at which we exhibit throughout the year, as we have integrated paypal into our website. We have only a selection of our most popular items on the site at the moment, but will be increasing the range of goods on a regular basis. About Yakyak
Yakyak developed from close friendship ties to Nepal and Tibet, with an empathy and profound respect for the people and their culture.
We personally make several visits a year to Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Patan, and Boudhanath to buy artefacts from small and family-run businesses. This enables us to select and buy only products of the best quality. It also ensures that we are buying from the people that make the goods so we are not putting money in the pockets of anonymous wholesalers or those that run sweat-shops and pay only subsistence wages.
In addition to these activities, Yakyak’s philosophy extends to forging links between charitable concerns based in Nepal and bodies in the UK, through which it has been possible to make positive contributions to their efforts.
Yakyak offers a wide selection of Nepalese and Tibetan artefacts which range from devotional and Buddhist objects, to decorative items, handmade paper, clothing, jewellery, and accessories.
We have a number of items for sale on our website. If you cannot see what you are looking for on our products page, please email us and we will be happy to source in Nepal anything we do not currently have for sale or in stock in our shop.
